We make a difference

PROSAMI has overseen 1,850 pregnancies since the launch of the Pilot Center, with no maternal deaths. PROSAMI also has a maternal mortality rate of 0, compared to the national 473* in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Obstetric Emergencies

PROSAMI provided care for 121 obstetric emergencies. Only 20 of these were transferred to a higher-care facility.

The Pilot Center has successfully managed a variety of obstetric emergencies. The graph illustrates our ability to identify and treat these emergencies locally and a breakdown of the types of emergencies that needed higher levels of care.
