PROSAMI has overseen over 2,500 deliveries since the launch of the Pilot Center, with no maternal deaths. PROSAMI also has a maternal mortality rate of 0, compared to the national 473* in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Obstetric Emergencies

PROSAMI provided care for 121 obstetric emergencies. Only 20 of these were transferred to a higher-care facility.
