PROSAMI Acquires a Cargo-container; Delivering donations, supplies, and equipment.

PROSAMI has recently acquired a 40-foot storage trailer that PROSAMI can use specifically to collect durable goods and equipment for the PROSAMI Pilot Center in Mbuji Mayi, DRC. This donation was made possible through the gracious donation of Agnes and Elijah Kanyanya.

Please contact Agnes Kanyanya or David Strider if you have durable medical equipment that you wish to donate to the PROSAMI program. All donations would be tax-deductible since PROSAMI is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable organization.

Items may include microscopes, portable exam lights, ultrasound machines, 12 lead ECG machines, tabletop refrigerator, autoclave, surgical headlight, and oximeters with adult and neonatal finger probes. We also need a vehicle that can be used as an ambulance for very ill women with delivery complications and for neonates who have been resuscitated at birth but are still very unstable.

PROSAMI will gladly accept donations for non-expired consumable medical supplies, mannequins, and anatomical models for teaching.

A complete list of equipment we need is as follows:

  • adult, infant, and neonate CPR mannequins

  • infusion pumps,

  • IV poles,

  • infant incubators

  • delivery room table,

  • anesthesia

  • Oxygen blender,

  • feeding pump for neonates

  • oxygen concentrator

  • patient warmer

  • otoscope

  • Ophthalmoscope,

  • portable ultrasound for mammography

  • portable glucose monitor
